Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar
There’s fresh seafood and authentic Thai food from a local fishing family at this idyllic seaside Baan Tai restaurant by the pier. Ando Loco
This Mexican restaurant in Baan Tai is actually towards the main town of Thong Sala but is worth including here for it’s delectable range of top nitch jumbo burritos at prices to make a hardened backpacker smile. The daily 16:00 – 18:00 happy hour offers Chang beer at an unbelievable 40 baht while there are 120 baht margaritas which pack a real punch. Nira's Bakery
The original European bakery on Koh Phangan which was opened in 1985 and still packs in hordes of tourists desperate to get a bite of their homesickness-abating pastries, bread, cakes, sandwiches, hot drinks and specials of the day. Open 07:00 – 19:00. $
